21st-HR was initially founded to establish a global network of HR professionals to develop an approach which supports bringing Human Resources to the next level of HR delivery, covering the business needs in the 21st century.

The next level as I understand it means that HR is interacting with the business more as a consultancy than as a partner. HR is observing external trends and environment. Evaluates the internal business needs and based on this is able to provide the right support to the business for implementing strategy and achieving targets.

21st-HR works with the three pillars of design the strategy, organization design with managed process and HR essentials as well as the implementation of strategy and processes.

Nowadays 21st-HR is not anymore an idea of a HR network - 21st-HR is now active as Human Resource consulting in the areas of Management Consulting and Process Management.
